The Exhibition Club is a charitable non-profit organization supported by its members, individual donors, buyers, corporate funders, foundations for the Arts and Art lovers.

The Gallery will celebrate modern exhibitions, provide catering as well the occasional extensive public program. The club will focus on historical and contemporary art from Iceland and around the world. The club is a satire on arrogance, patronage and corruption in the arts in Iceland.

Special attention will be paid to the achievements of artists who are not selected from the so called elite society and by politically appointed committees that distribute all kinds of concessions from the government to their friends, relatives and also themselves in most positions that concern art in this country, time and again. The club’s exhibitions also explore the impact of works on the larger field of visual culture, design and architecture.
